We envision a world in which sacred Islamic traditions help to solve today’s most pressing social and environmental challenges
While Muslims comprise a significant minority in The Netherlands, they remain relatively under-represented in sectors such as academia, finance, science and technology.
In many cases this is because they have less access to opportunities compared to other demographic groups in Dutch/European society.
Rootd. aims to address these issues and unlock the Muslim community’s potential to contribute towards social and environmental solutions.
Our mission.
Empower - to empower the Muslim and European community and unlock human capital by enhancing access to and reducing inequality of opportunities through sharing of networks, knowledge, experiences and expertise.
Inspire - to inspire the youth and those with limited access to opportunities by making Islamic scholarship more accessible and showcasing leaders within the European Muslim community.
Contribute - to create a contributive, solutions-oriented community, and promote civic engagement and participation in Dutch/European society.
